🌱Only hotel guests may borrow. Those under 18 must have consent from a legal guardian; the hotel reserves the right to refuse rentals to those under 12 unless accompanied by a legal guardian. Borrowers (or their legal guardians) must provide identification to be held at the Concierge, which will be returned upon bike return.
🌱Bike Rental and Return Location: Both at the Grand Banyan Hotel.
🌱Each bike comes with a helmet, lock,key, and front and rear lights. Borrowers are strongly advised to wear helmets at all times. Dangerous actions such as riding side by side, carrying passengers, or overloading are prohibited. Borrowers are fully responsible for any damage or loss of the bike and its accessories.
🌱Cycling accidents may result from weather, road conditions, personal cycling skills, danger response, or improper operation of equipment. Renters must exercise due caution and bear the risks involved.
🌱Any fines due to traffic violations attributable to the renter must be paid by the renter. In case of an accident resulting in injury or property damage to the Grand Banyan Hotel, the user, or third parties, the renter must report the incident immediately unless unable to do so. If the renter is at fault, they will be legally responsible and must compensate for any irreparable damage to the bike at market value.
🌱Areas outside the Grand Banyan Hotel are not covered by the hotel's public liability insurance. Renters are responsible for adhering to traffic safety regulations and obtaining personal accident insurance while riding on public roads.
🌱Riders should avoid wearing excessively loose pants or long shoelaces to prevent entanglement with the bike's gears.
🌱The hotel is responsible for bike maintenance, but renters should inspect the bike in person, checking:
(1)Quantity and type, serial number, accessories (helmet, lock, key, front and rear lights)
(2)Safety features, including tire pressure, brakes, gear shifts, and saddle height.
(3)Suitability of helmet and protective gear sizes.
